Four award-winning modern spaces are available for hire, supported by a range of smaller breakout rooms. The venue is served by a modern commercial kitchen and facilities for everything from light refreshments to banquets.
Located in the southern CBD of Sydney and only a 10min walk from Central Station, our spaces are the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, training events, concerts, receptions, exhibitions, exams, meetings and other significant events.
The Main Auditorium is the largest space in the building which can seat 500 people theatre style comfortably.
This stunning light filled space features state-of-the-art AV technology, beautiful curved walls and a soaring ceiling. Connected to the auditorium is a spacious foyer that complements the curved form of the auditorium, a serving kitchenette as well as a courtyard with a landscaped garden and heritage displays of the old church.
Howard Guinness Hall
The Hall is located on the ground floor of the building below the Main Auditorium. The space has a capacity of 200 people and was designed to be multipurpose making it ideal for any sort of set up including receptions, parties, conferences, large meetings, etc.
This space also has Sound and AV equipment allocated to it and opens up to the large downstairs foyer.
The Upstairs Foyer is filled with natural light and can cater for 150 people standing. With comfortable inbuilt couches on the side, access to AV with speakers in the ceiling and the serving kitchenette adjacent to the space, this is ideal for any party, meeting or networking session.
The Downstairs Foyer is the perfect intimate space for your next event. The space can comfortably fit 150 people standing and also features flexible set up arrangements, access to AV with speakers in the ceiling, professional art hanging system on the far wall with spot lighting and commercial kitchen facilities adjacent to this space.
Our Commerical Kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a combination steam oven, gas cook top oven, bain marie with hot cupboard, commercial fridge and freezer as well as a pass through dishwasher.
Our building is also stocked with enough crockery, cutlery and glassware to cater for 200 people.
We have a number of meeting rooms that can cater for 2-50 people. Our meetings rooms also have flexible set up arrangements. Whether you are looking for a formal meeting set up or a casual meeting environment with lounges, we have the facilities for you with easy access to kitchen facilities, telephone facilities and AV equipment.
